An Australian Rules tradition since 1859
This year is one of disruption with the building of the new University Pavilion. The timely demise of the favourite "Pavvy" is recognition that it's lifespan had been over extended by many years. The effect of this is that all home games will still be played at the University Oval in 2013. Operations will be conducted from temporary accommodation located on the south side of the Oval between it and the athletics track. Viewing is from the southern side while parking is very limited and requires a permit.
This year marks the return of the Blacks to Premier Division to play the Blues. A unique circumstance of rivalry and one division of the one entity playing the other.
